  • PLUMBING/FIRE PROTECTION DESIGNER / ENGINEER

    We are seeking to add entry level through senior level Plumbing/Fire Protection designers/engineers to our staff, who are prepared to grow with us, as well as bring experience and enthusiasm to the office. We are looking for individuals who want to actively participate in the full project cycle-from the design phase through the final construction close-out, including coordination and meeting support.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Collaboration in multi-discipline project teams to develop drawings and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractors and building owners.

    • Design plumbing and fire protection systems.

    • Calculate preliminary water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads for utility coordination.

    • Develop project specifications.

    • Survey and evaluate existing conditions.

    • Construction administration.

    • Other tasks as needed to ensure timely and thorough support to our clients.

    The ideal candidate has the following experience/credentials:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field.

    • Experience in AutoCAD; BIM/Revit experience a plus.

    • Practical knowledge of building, plumbing, fire codes.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • PE, CPD or EIT a plus.

    • LEED AP or knowledge of sustainable design practices a plus.

    Compensation is commensurate with experience and BEE offers a competitive benefit package.

  • ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

    We are seeking to add an electrical engineer to our staff who is prepared to grow with us, as well as bring energy and enthusiasm to the office. We are looking for someone who wants to actively participate in the full project cycle-from the design phase through the final construction close-out, including coordination and meeting support.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Collaboration in multi-discipline project teams to develop drawings and specification documents for issuance to architects, contractor and building owners.

    • Design electrical systems to include selecting equipment and fixtures.

    • Design and perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.

    • Prepare load analysis.

    • Prepare energy compliance calculations, working knowledge of COMcheck.

    • Develop project specifications.

    • Survey and evaluate existing conditions.

    • Construction administration.

    • Other tasks as needed to ensure timely and thorough support to our clients.

    The ideal candidate has the following experience/credentials:

    • Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering with 5 to10 or more years of experience.

    • Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM/Revit.

    • Practical knowledge of building and electrical codes.

    • Excellent verbal and writing skills.

    • EIT or PE License preferred.

    • LEED AP or knowledge of sustainable design practices a plus.
